Bharatpur foundation celebration program Bharatpur Foundation Day ProgramUnder the joint aegis of Lohagarh Vikas Parishad and the District Administration Bharatpur, a week-long series of events is being organized to celebrate the 293rd Foundation Day of Bharatpur.The coordinator of the Explore Ghana on Foot race, Rahul Saini, informed that 500 youths from the city participated in the competition, which was flagged off by District Collector Kamar Ul Zaman Chaudhary. The race was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Physical Officer Gambhir Singh. Physical teacher Ajay Faujdar and Dr. Sandeep Deshwal stated that in the men’s category, Sachin secured first place, Akash second, and Kuldeep third. In the women’s category, Rani Chaudhary stood first, Reena second, and Shivani third.Media in-charge Narendra Nirmal said that all winners were awarded Titan smartwatches courtesy of the Titan showroom Heeradas, and jackets, caps, and bags sponsored by Keoladeo National Park. District coordinator Yogesh Sharma added that ADM City Rahul Saini, Additional SP Pankaj Yadav, and Joint Director Tourism Sanjay Johri also completed the 10-km run with the participants. All finishers were felicitated with medals by Foundation Day convenor Anurag Garg and District President of Jat Mahasabha Dr. Prem Singh Kuntal. Caps and T-shirts were also distributed to participants with support from banks.On this occasion, Chetan Kumar, Municipal Commissioner Shravan Kumar Vishnoi, District Education Officer (Secondary) Surendra Gopalia, along with Manoj Tiwari, Alok Bansal, Krishnalal Singh, Hirendra Singh, Tejveer Singh, Baba Edel Singh, Kapil Bansal, and many citizens participated.As part of the program series, at 10 a.m. a grand Mega Flower Show was inaugurated at Vishwapriya Shastri Park, organized by Harit Brij Society. The event was held under the chief guestship of District Collector Kamar Chaudhary, chaired by Mahendra Singh Maggo, with special guests ADM Administration Ghanshyam Sharma, ADM City Rahul Saini, and Anurag Garg.Society president Dr. Ashok Parashar said that around 8,000 plants of various species are on display, including Adenium Arabicum, over 300 varieties of Ovessum cactus (Arizona, Mexico, Golden, Silver, and Blue varieties), topiary, lithops, tray gardens, conophytum, medicinal plants, bougainvillea from Thailand and Bengaluru, and 65 seasonal varieties. Vice-president Vishnu Sharma added that products made from moringa by Ekal Gramotthan Foundation and items from Lohagarh Organic Farm House are also being exhibited. Additionally, children’s painting competitions, devotional music evenings, and other cultural programs will be held.
